ZAMBIA NEWS FROM
CLARA MARIE AND PETER PEDERSEN.
Dear friends in many countries.
Lest you should forget us or you should think we have left our calling we must now send a letter, which should have been in your mail box long ago. Our apologies! But we are GLAD that we can write a good report about what Jesus has been able to do with us and through us.
Beginning of September we went with a team through Tanzania and Kenya to Uganda.
Here we have a nice lunch-break in the mountains of Tanzania. On our team is David Mpapwa (Kalulushi ACZ) (left) and Isaac Manda (from Chipata ACZ). Both tested men with whom we were ONE in spirit and life and in ministry.
Dar es Salaam was our goal on the second day, and here we met great hospitality from our previous students from KBC, Prosper og Deborah Ntepa, seen on this photo.

We ministered the Word of God in their church one day and prayed for many people afterwards who needed Jesus in their lives. Next stop was Arusha, still in Tanzania. Here we met and work together with Robert and Nai Robinson seen underneath with their daughter Neema. They were also at KBC a few years back, and they are into church planting in Arusha now.
There were blessed ministry into their lives and their leaders, and on the Sunday we were engaged in work in one of the churches in Arusha, as seen below.
We were greatly encouraged by what we had experienced in Tanzania en-route and once again we had seen the value of this form of ENCOURAGING and FOSTERING kind of ministry.
Our next stop would be Eldoret in Kenya, where vi stayed overnight with Soren and Birgitte Pedersen. Clara Marie is standing together with Birgitte behind the kitchen windows.
Precious fellowship and mutual encouragement through all what God has done for them in their very special ministry of building churches in Kenya and Sudan. In 2007 about 180 buildings were raised. What an inspiration!
Here we are crossing Equator. Nearly 1750m above sea level.
Crossing of the borders was easy because of the Carnet des Passages I bought from AA in South Africa.
We felt the presence of the Lord on the entire trip, and hours of worship, praise and prayer is part of our long days on the roads.
We reached SOROTI in Uganda – our goal – before it was dark. By then we had driven 3.500km since we left Ndola a week earlier. We didn’t even have one unpleasant experience on the entire journey. We are so grateful to God also for the prayer cover from many friends. – Once again we received a very warm and loving reception which characterizes our friends in Uganda. Many friends and co-labourers in the Lord had come together in the rented house for a fellowship meal.
Here you see the widow Beatrice Omese who with her late husband were at KBC years ago as the first students from Uganda. Next to her is Maggie Alemu married to Francis who is the Principal at Bethel Bible College in Soroti.
In the next letter you will see the Bible College in Soroti, where I was able to teach for a week.
The Lord bless you as you remember us in our ministry that takes us into many places in Africa.
With our greetings and thankfulness,
Clara Marie og Peter.
